EDITORIAL STANDARDS

Useful deal information earns trust one claim at a time.

These standards govern every guide, deal observation, availability label and retailer link published by SKUba Dive.

Independent rankings

Deal scores are based on product identity, realistic comparison price, effective price, distance, freshness, availability evidence and uncertainty. Affiliate compensation is never a ranking input. A non-affiliate offer may outrank an offer that pays a commission.

Evidence labels

Verified live requires a recent permitted source or direct observation that matches the exact product, price and location. Availability unconfirmed means the lead may be useful but stock or checkout has not been corroborated. Expired or sold out is retained only when its history still helps readers. Demonstration records are explicitly labeled and are never presented as current offers.

Product and price matching

We compare the same model, variant, pack size, condition, seller and fulfillment method whenever possible. Manufacturer list price alone is not treated as proof of savings; recent realistic street price is the preferred baseline. Shipping, required memberships and broadly available coupons are included when known.

Public chatter

Public posts can identify an early lead, but repetition does not turn rumor into inventory. Chatter remains separate from verified results until identifiers, location and timing are corroborated through lawful sources or documented observations.

Corrections

Material errors are corrected promptly. Reports should include the affected page, exact identifier, supporting evidence and observation time. Meaningful corrections may be disclosed on the affected page. Send reports to contact@skubadive.com.

Lawful sourcing and privacy

SKUba Dive uses public information, documented feeds, approved partner tools and voluntary field observations. We do not bypass access controls, defeat CAPTCHAs, request confidential inventory systems, automate prohibited checkout activity or publish personal account information.
